TREK

TREK

We have chosen Trek as one of our main suppliers not least because they are the biggest bike manufacturer in the world, but also because they have a comprehensive, wide range of types and models to offer.

Treks sheer buying power always ensures their bikes are competitively specced, whilst Bontrager components (their in house component brand) and their own accessories offer everything from cutting edge design to quite simply, great value for money.

We are particularly impressed by the Madone road bikes (as used by the Astana team, featuring riders such as Alberto Contador and Lance Armstrong), the great FX range of sports hybrids, the new Fuel EX and Top-Fuel full-suspension ranges, and the hard to beat 4000, 6000 and 8000 mountain bikes.

They also offer a range of utility models, such as the T30 commuter, the Allant retro-styled bikes, the funky single speed District, and a range of fully equipped "Dutch" bikes - such as the L300 and L400, with hub gears, dynamo lights and upright riding position.
We use the Navigator series of "Comfort" mountain bikes on our hire fleet - a testament to the reliability and durability of these bikes.

All Trek bikes are available with a choice of WSD (Women Specific Design) models, which have adapted frame geometries and female specific components such as handlebars and saddles - all designed to ensure good fit, ergonomics and comfort.

Last, but not least, Trek make a great range of pavement and youth bikes, from the Mystic and Jet in 12" and 16", the MT60 and MT220 in 20" and 24" wheels.
With their youth fit brake levers, to the "Dialled" two pedal choice position cranks, they offer good fit as the child grows - enabling you to get the best value from the bike.

We dont stock everything form their range, so if you dont see a model on our site that suits you take a look at Treks website (listed below).

Trek bikes may be ordered on line, but must be collected in store, a policy Trek introduced in 2008 to ensure you get a well built bike, that is correctly sized and adjusted to fit you - a policy that dovetails exactly with our own aim to serve you best.

All the bikes we stock from them use aluminium frames for lightness, have Shimano gears, decent brakes and comfy saddles. From the 12, 14 and 16 inch wheeled Blowfish, through to the Redtails and Vogue, the 24" Vixen and Bandits, and the petite framed 26" Paris - theres something to delight any youngster.

Drop in and we can let the youngster try the bike as part of helping you and them choose the right bike.

GARY FISHER

GARY FISHER
Gary Fisher - "The man behind the bikes"
Hey. How's it goin'? Me, I'm doing great. Riding bikes, thinking about bikes, talking about bikes. Somebody asked me the other day why I spend so much time doing bike stuff. The question caught me off guard. My first response was that bikes are as good a pursuit as just about anything else I can think of.
Then I realized something else: it's not really about bikes. I mean, it is. But. It's about being outside, it's about communing with something big, it's about meeting people. Bikes are forward momentum. They are machines with inherently positive motives. I like that. Always have. Not going to stop any time soon.
See you out there,
Gary

MONGOOSE

MONGOOSE
Mongoose - Performance Bicycles since 1974.

Founded in 1974 in a So Cal garage, Mongoose has always been an innovator. From our first product - cast-magnesium MotoMag wheels to our current crop of BMX, Mountain and pavement bikes, Mongoose is synonymous with bicycle performance.

We build for riders. It's why our BMX designers aren't wasting time watching reruns on ESPN2 - they're out testing our new designs at the park, on the track and on the hill. It's what drives us to cook things up like our Front Porch head tube, which lets you fine-tune the handling on our Black Diamond series mountain bikes, or Freedrive suspension technology, which eliminates pedal bob and gives you super-efficient full suspension. Experience that ultimately leads to better bikes for you.

Mongoose bikes don't just push the limits. They set new ones.

PASHLEY

PASHLEY
Pashley Cycles is England's longest established cycle manufacturer. Established in 1926 and based in Stratford- upon-Avon our dedicated team design and hand build a unique range of specialist bicycles and tricycles.

From the exclusive Classic or Sovereign traditional models to the new and dynamically different Pashley-Moulton TSR, each and every one of our bikes are built to exacting standards.

SCOTT

SCOTT

Scott bikes are based in Switzerland and their attention to detail in the design and testing of their bikes is legendary - not only that, but their designs and graphics always look cool, and very distinctive.

Scott are market leaders in the production of carbon framed bikes, from the super fast Addict road bikes (as used by Mark Cavendish of the Columbia / High Road team), the Scale hardtails (read the reviews!), and the Spark, "All New" Genius and Ransom full suspension bikes.

But its not all carbon bling...............

The Sportster range of off-road capable hybrids are without doubt the best in category, being properly designed for the rigours of trail riding, whilst being fully capable of adding racks and mudguards for commuting or touring. If youve only got room for one bike in your life - this is the one.

Scott also make a good range of womens specific designed bikes - check out the Contessa 50 through to 10, Contessa Scale, Plasma and CR1.

The Scott Voltage series of mountain bikes are a young lads dream - short and tough for messing around on dirt, yet light enough and with enough gears to track, trail and get to school on - and with street cool looks!

And theres always a great looking and light youth bike, so your youngster can look the part alongside you on the trail.
