What can you say about Brompton - the superlatives just run out... Undoubtedly THE most compact, well designed and durable folding bike on the market, the Brompton continues to develop in an evolutionary manner- so there are no real "year" models, just continued refinement of the perfect design. Despite its diminutive size, the ride quality of the Brompton is remarkably good, and the steering is especially quick - making a nimble and highly manoeuvrable bike. Portability is king: If you need to deal with a flight of stairs or a railway platform, just part fold the bike, and carry or wheel it the distance. Fancy a coffee or need to put your bike inside for safe keeping - no problem, full-fold and it is small suitcase sized, and you cant reasonably be refused access anywhere. Live in a top floor flat? No problem, a Brompton is light and small enough to carry up the stairs. As well as the bikes, there are a range of useful accessories that can be fitted to the bike, or used to store and cover the bike. The only area in which we recommend diverging from what Brompton offer, is in choice of front lights. There is now a fantastic range of "be-seen", to "Wow, I can see the World" LED lights available - some in rechargeable form, to suit every need.
