As the days get shorter we all need to think about lights and some warmer clothing. So armed with a new Bontrager ion700 front light and a new X-bionic Leg, Arm warmers and a Gillet I’m now ready for anything…. The X Bionic clothing is a bit of a treat, but its such good kit -and having ridden the bibs and jersey for a season I know how well it works at regulating temperature. The performance and comfort benefits are well worth the investment – and after a recent price “correction” (to harmonise with Euro pricing, as its made in Italy – and Swiss designed) its not much more than good quality makes like Pearl Izumi anyway….. New Trek 2016 bikes have just been released – we have some in stock already and more landing soon. Aside from the absolutely stunning new aero Madone bike, there are some great new innovative models. new colours, and some lower prices! There are more options in road (including a Di2 model in the Womens range, the Silque SL), the new Procaliber hardtail (which includes the iso-decoupler as used on the Domane), revised Fuel Ex platforms (New rear shocks and the Mino-link added for extra versatility), and new hybrid / DS and kids bikes. Of course, we will be stocking many of these, and carry a lot od demo bikes across the range.
